On 18 September 2026, Professor Slobodan Lubura of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of East Sarajevo, visited BADEN in Čačak as part of preparations for the WB Maker Bridge project. During the visit, he met with Professor Danijela Milošević to discuss the upcoming project workshops and their content.

Together, they also visited the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, University of Kragujevac, where one of the workshops is planned to take place. Their discussions focused on potential workshop topics and practical activities through which participants could gain new knowledge and experience.

The planned WB Maker Bridge workshops will introduce young people to electronics, programming and sensor applications through practical work. Working with ESP32 development boards and electronic components will help participants connect basic technical concepts with concrete tasks, from connecting components and writing programs to reading sensor data and understanding how simple devices operate.

This approach gives participants an opportunity to try out their ideas, identify mistakes and develop solutions through experimentation. Alongside gaining technical knowledge, the workshops will provide opportunities for teamwork and the exchange of experiences among young people interested in technology and STEM.

The visit to BADEN and the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak forms part of preparations for these activities. The discussion of workshop content provides a basis for further programme development and the organisation of practical sessions for participants.
