Young people interested in programming, electronics and smart devices are invited to register for the WB Maker Bridge workshop taking place in Čačak on Friday, 23 October 2026.
The workshop will give secondary school students, university students and other young people an opportunity to explore the basics of ESP32 development boards and sensors, connect technical concepts with practical examples and discover how simple ideas can be developed into functional solutions.
The planned approach combines explanations, demonstrations and practical tasks with mentoring support. The emphasis is on understanding the process: connecting components, understanding the role of a program and using the data collected by a device. Opportunities to ask questions, exchange ideas and solve problems together are equally important.
Girls and young women are particularly encouraged to register and take an active role. WB Maker Bridge promotes accessible and inclusive practical learning, supporting young people in developing their interests and confidence in STEM.
Through the cooperation of BADEN, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of East Sarajevo and IMTM, the Čačak workshop forms part of a broader regional programme of knowledge and experience sharing. When registration is open, select “Register” to open the existing workshop application form. Complete the form and join us for learning through exploration and practical work.
This project is co-funded by the Western Balkans Fund and the European Union, as part of the WBF-EU Joint Action.
