How can a small electronic device measure changes in its surroundings? What connects a sensor, a program and a smart solution? The WB Maker Bridge workshop in Podgorica will give young people an opportunity to explore these questions through an introduction to ESP32 development boards, sensors and practical electronics.

The invitation is open to secondary school students, university students and other young people who would like to develop their knowledge and discover how simple technological solutions are created. Those who are just beginning to explore this field are particularly encouraged to get involved and discover practical learning opportunities.

The programme combines introductory explanations with practical tasks, covering equipment, the basics of microcontroller programming and applications of sensor data. Its aim is not only to present technology, but also to encourage curiosity, collaborative work and the development of participants’ own ideas.

Girls and young women interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics — STEM — are especially encouraged to participate. Inclusive participation and mentoring support are important parts of the project, which seeks to give young people an active role in practical technical activities.

The workshop forms part of the cooperation between the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of East Sarajevo, BADEN and IMTM. Join us in Podgorica on 14 October and take the next step in exploring electronics and digital technologies.
